large?? how large?, there is heaps of Aluminium Cats that are quite big, and a thousand 23' Sharkcats, let us know how large you are talking, remember you will be restricted by the Beam as well.
it depends on what you are classifying as large and how far you need to tow. The perfect combination between large and towing would have to be the 20-21 footers like my 660 Noosacat. as you can still tow with a Lanscruiser/Patrol. the 23 really if you want to tow long distances an F250 is needed.
oh did i mention mine is for sale ?
pm me if you would like some more details

hoping to tow with cruiser/patrol am willing to build ally trailer to keep a little weight down.Only have to travel around five km to ramp.Currently trying to work out the weight for a 2700 extended cab noosa cat. not a big fan of ally for cats. I may have to bite the bullet and buy a cheap f truck (if possible)
drain12 mate the weight of my 2700 extended cab on the survey book is 3.115 tonnes.I believe this is with 180litres on board out of 2x280litre tanks.
my boats on boatpoint called "jaguar",shoot me a pm if you want to no anything about it
cheers jason
If I was after a large trailable cat id be getting a 7m coastalcat built. There shithot and a BIG 7m cat. Run sweet on twin 115's even. They dont weigh anywhere near as much as the noosa etc but I love the big noosa's. All depends on your budget I guess. Let us know your progress.![]()
well this would have to be the biggest cat u could trailer its massive thought it would be over?

It is a far, far better thing to have fished and lost, than never to have fished at all.
