Storm turns it on....
Did a full day offshore on Friday with a couple of fishos.
Picked up several mixed reefies in 30 - 60m, along with some surprises - full house of flathead on the paternoster?????
Came back in close when we saw the storm coming - by then it was too late.
Decided to keep fishing & hope it would pass.
Plenty of lightning bolts right over head had us a bit nervous.
Fortunately waypoint 91 turned it on nicely.
Picked up some 80cm kings on bait & plastics.(Cajun chicken)
Got smoked thrice on the 10 pound flicker, even after chasing them down.
then wazza lands this beauty on 6 pound with a gambler.
I think he saw the base of his spool a couple of times.
The big girl went 95cm & was released after a few pics.

Nice work mate, sounds like you guys did well. We also had a big day on friday with a nice feed of snapper. We tried dropping some live baits for kingies and the like with no such luck
Cheers
