Sweet & Sour Fish 3 Ingredients 10 Minutes
Here is an easy version of Sweet & Sour Fish / Chicken / Pork.
Ingredients
- 400-500 Grams of cubed fish pieces (about 1 inch cubes & no bones)
- 1 Packet of Fresh Stir fry Asian style vegetables (At your local large supermarket F & G Section)
- 1 Bottle of Sweet & Sour Stir Fry Sauce (I use K... T…G)
Prior
If you are having rice, bung that in the rice cooker.
Cooking.
Heat Wok/Pan with a good dash of oil until smoking. (Portable gas cooker is good)
Chuck in about ½ of your fish pieces in. Keep them moving .Once just cooked remove and put on a plate.
Cook rest of fish pieces and add to plate once (you chuck them in again later).
Wait until Wok/Pan is hot again & cook the vegies until just cooked.
Chuck in the cooked fish pieces and mix through until hot.
Add the Sauce, stir in and turn down heat a bit until hot. (about 2 minutes)
Chuck away sauce bottle & Vegie Packet before anyone else see’s.
Serve with Rice.
Notes:
If your kids don’t like fish, tell them its sweet & sour rice. Ours eat it then.
You could use your own vegies, (you lose fishing & Ausfish time).
Good Luck Steve
