    Non Boaties

I dont know about other people, but i wish there was a list of guys who dont have boats but would like to go for a run and fish when the opportunity arises.
I go out few times buy myself and some good company would be nice.
So if anyone would like to start a list with name, area, and contact details and times available i feel sure that guys like myself would only be to happy to give u a call.
i see on here many times that a deckie is needed and replies are few.
So lets start a deckie list and all go fishing.

    cheers

Isn't that for the 'Meet and Greet' section of this forum is for?

Well done for offering....I think more and more people will be doing what your doing.....can be lonely out there sometimes when you fish for several hours by yourself....

If you were south side I'd take you up on your offer....I'm keen to get into a bit of evening fishing....

I think this has been raised previously, and it never flew. But the climate has changed lately, so maybe it is time to have a list as a sticky somewhere.

I know some people are selling boats as it is just getting too expensive. But that does not mean they are not still interested in fishing. Example of this is the guy I bought my boat from. He was a nice guy and I dropped by recently to show him the mods I had made since buying it, and asked if he wanted to come out for a trip or 2. He jumped at the chance. There must be heaps more like that, that want to still get out, but just no longer have the opportunity.

Also with offshore trips, we use to go 2 up, but it is just so expensive to do it regularly that you need extra on board to share costs.

If there was an easy way to match people up, then it would be beneficial for everyone. Are there other functions with this software apart from having to set up as a normal thread? Steve?

    still looks the same, cheech.
just looks like one goes solo.
thought people would jump at the chance.

I got a little tinnie and fish the rivers ect of the Sunshine Coast. I would be glad to take some non boaties for a fish every so often.
I do like to venture offshore for a fish too in others boats, and don't mind sharing the costs and even most of me catch.
