A mate had a 560 Barcrusher cuddy witha 140 zuke, it was a nice package, stay away from the 6m plus versions - they are bone crushers. not sur eabout the smaller ones.
for an allrounder, I'd reckon you'd need the shelter of a cuddy. I know Riptide do a 5.2 and 5.4 version - could be worth checking out
Hey Pete, AT least HE didn't DO a SnApPa on YA!
I see by your avatar that you have your new fisher boat Pete...how is it going?
Cheers

Stevo the bluefin is a good boat for up here for flicking lures at barra and will get you outside on a good day .I don't think the BC would be too good for flicking lures the cabin would get in the way .
the capital thing is because you left your caps lock on on the keyboard
Stuie
IF IT CAN'T EAT A WHOLE PILLY I DON'T WANT IT
Hey mate,
Just to clear something up, the Blue fin isnt a plate boat, it just has 3mm slab sides in place of the 2mm pressed. A plate boat is something more like the Fisher, Barcrusher, AMM etc. They are built from a totaly different construction method compaired to the bluefin which is a pressed boat/ production boat builder.
You will be best to look at what you need to use the boat for, then decide what boat is best suited to you, ie cuddy , bowrider, runabout, side console etc. Then decide if you want pressed or plate construction. And the all important how much you want to spend.
Cheers

stevo i own a 4.5 mtr bluefin and is a good boat for creek and shoals . the bar crusher is far superior type of boat, not really comparable realy as it is more desgined for offshore work not creeks.also there is a large price difference, go the 5mtr not 4.5 if you choose the bluefin as the new flotation laws have changed the amount of aviable space . ether will get you out to seven or 12 mile on a calm day if you want to go out further to the reefs dont go anything less than the 5.8 bar crusher cost is around 60 thousand while the blufefin would be around 30 thousand. both have there place
Stevo,
Have a look at the Polycraft mate. If you go to www.polyboatowners.com you will find a bunch of fisho's local to your area who would be only too willing to give you info or a ride.
Cheers
