Grinding in my tierra 2500

i have a brand new tierra 2500 and when i turn the handle it feels like a slight grinding feeling inside it. i never felt it while spooling up.
im told that it might be a standard thing as another off the shelf felt the same. but i just cant imagine that this would be the case from daiwa, even the cheaper reels dont have this feeling.

anyone know anything about it?

i took it in and the guy in the shop told me he'll have a look at it, and that his does it
i have about 2 months of downtime due to a run in with a drop saw anyway so might get him to send it away if i have to seeuing as i cant use it due to being a freaking invalid the dropsaw always wins. TRUST ME

I had the type of thing happen with a okuma v system nice and smooth spooled up and not the same mentioned it to tackle store and they said don’t worry about it if it stuffs up we got it covered for you

had same thing happen to my tierra 1500..local shop sent it away but it got lost so they replaced it
