well its taken a while but my grabdparents have finally moved up to caloundra
dont get me wrong i'll miss them but then i stop and think to myself they are only 20 metres to pummy and about 5 minutes to currimundi lake.
now this means that school holiday will be spent obviously up their with mates either surfing definatly flicking a few lures and obviously checking out the coast scenery
which brings me to my problem.
i have no trouble fishing the pummy i know my way around that place pretty well but i would love to have a flick in currimundi lake many a time and i have no idea where to fish int hat place.
obvuoulsy i could sound around for a while and try to locate general schools but if anyone has any general idea on the area and what your likely to encounter it would be much appreciated.
p.s i'll probably be fishing out of my canoe or if dad is with me the 485 ranger just to let u know if its a problem in anyway
thanks heaps in advance
regards jason

in cuminyaundies hehe there is lots of bream, flatties, whiting, jack, cod, gar, mullet and some times tarpon in the back of the creeks. the place is not that big so ya canoe will get you around fine. i get a lot of bream, gar and some times mullet with bread and bread flys just up from the bridge on the main feeder creek. just burley up bit time with bread and the fish all come to you, good fun if the fish arn't hitting lures.
figjam
cheers for that nug will definately consider the mullet nothing lyk some good crab bait and fresh as it comes to
