How do you resize a photo so I can put it on a post?

I would be greatful to anyone who can tell me how to resize a 3.2Meg photo so I can put it on a post!!! Please forgive my technological Ignorance!

download a program called photogadget, free download version
it is fantastic, just rightclick the photo and choose photogadget resize, couldn't be easier

Poddy, the easiest way i have found is right click on the photo in its 3.2 meg form and then click on the send to and when you get asked if you want to make the pic smaller click smaller and email it to yourself. then open the email and go up to file and save picture as...........in whereever you keep photos, it then should be saved as a small file. Works for me.

or use Windows Paint and reduce the size by about 50% and it should drop a 3.2mb file down to about 200kb.

then go to imageshack.us (url) upload your image there, once it has been uploaded you can then select the direct web link option to display the picture in 1 of many ways.
