I have been a member for awhile now but this is my first post. I enjoy reading other posts & have picked up a lot of good ideas.
I live in the central-wheatbelt of WA so i am a long way from the coast. The wife & i have a boat garaged on the south coast at a town called Hopetoun. We have been going there for holidays for 10 yrs now & love it. We use to beach fish for herring,skippy,whiting,salmon & odd mulloway. We had the chance to fish offshore in a friends boat a few times & now enjoy catching fish out deep.
We purchased a 6.5mt Assassin cuddy cabin boat 20 months ago & that was a great decision. We don't get down as often as we would like but enjoy it & relax when we can. Next year we are moving there to live & of course fish more.
We can catch nannygai, pink snapper, queen snapper, breaksea cod & sweep to name a few.
