    Hi From Rocky

Hi all, new to the site. I got a 4.5m quinny, flared bow, centre console with a 60 hp johnson. Got out to GKI last weekend, great weather (except fot the early fog...lol) Got some nice fish around sloping island. A good mate of mine got a couple of nice Snapper too!

Has any one got any tips on tackling the King Salmon that are in the river at the moment? what bait? what sort of rig? tide/time?

    Cheers, Biff

Head up to the town reaches with big live prawns.. they come up over the mudbanks near the race course on the rising tides and around the wharves on the south side..they like poddy mullet, green back herring or yorkies
They also hang in the eddies around the rockbars and behind the boats nosed on to the banks

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)
