It says that 1 pump will be installed in Melourne and Sydney beacuse demand will be extremely low for a few years.

They don't even list a price, so where did the $1.20 come from??

I'm glad that we have so many Ethanol experts here, I am sure that they have some good ideas on how to save our dwindling fuel reserves as well.

    hi brad ,
some harsh words there on the ethanol experts hey , some guys on here are actually very helpful .

the $1.20 that jabba spoke of would have been from the story last week about e85 and they were quoting 40 cents cheaper and ulp being up to about $1.60 at the moment , you can do the maths .
    cheers
    mark

i hope that wasnt too harsh mod5 , maybe just 2.5 points this time hey

Yep, and on QLD 7 news last Sat night, they were saying united were slowly rolling it out nation wide and it cost $1.20ltr and it was here in QLD... Ad if you read the date that the article was written, you would notice it was in November 2007... 8 months on and it now in QLD....
Ch 7 also advised motorist not too use E-85 as it will damage a none compatible E-85 car.. They said it will cause symptoms from not starting to destroying the motor....

I used E10 in my car for a few years (2.5 years to be exact), and I thought it was good stuff, until I start having my share off problems with it..... Blocked injectors and my O2 sensors kept on stuffing up.... It wasn't until I had my injectors cleaned that the true damage ethanol can cause.... Long story, short, the technician advised me not to use E-10 all the time, as it is very bad for injectors and numerous other part off the motor and fuel system.... Also since I have stopped using E10, I have not need to replace my O2 sensors... prior to that I would need to change them at least twice a year....

Also if anyone want to avoid using E10 fuel, then stay away from BP. All there ULP is E10... And once more it is not discounted .04c ltr like it is at other service stations....
