My First Fish On Plastics! (Pics)

    Hey folks,

Ok well the day started out, with me doing exams at school from 9 - 11am. After that i met up with Reece (Loophole) at 2pm, to go have a castnet and a bit of a fish. We stopped at BCF to get some bait for fishing, but as i was browsing around the lures and i saw the Squidgy Pro Range with S-Factor. Since i have seen threads on here about how good S-Factor was i thought i would try one out, Reece gave me the talk through about which ones r best and we decided to go with Bloodworm colour. And then we were off!

Got to the spot at about 3:30 or somthing, had a bit of a fish with the bait but nothing was happening, so we had a few casts in the cast net. After bout 45 the tide started coming in faster so i thought i would go and have a flick in the little river. Went over there not expecting to get a hit, i casted out, after a few flicks i was on! i brang in a little flatty bout 15-20cm. I was stoked! that was my first fish in saltwater on a lure and it was the very first cast i have ever done in saltwater with a lure !! Reece will tell ya how bloody happy i was , i wouldnt shut up until i got home. But i didnt get a photo of him, cause he sliced my line somehow? the line was only 6lb. Anyway i was shaking cause i was so happy, so i went back to get a new squidgie, put it on chucked on some S-Factor. We went back to the spot and started casting, my third cast and i was on again! i couldnt beleive it, this one was a bigger and went 39cm. After about 10 minutes we werent getting anything other than little hits from some bream, but i got one more flatty bout 15-20cm same as the first one.

Then we got nothing after that so we decided to head home.

Im definatly gonna go and try squidgies at ather places and fish little creeks and rivers. I dunno if im converted yet or not gotta wait and see what els i get.

Almost forgot to add, Reece Just got his new car and it was the first time he took it fishing, so congratulate him on getting his first car!.

Yer hopefully it will be the main style of fishing for me as i thought it was so productive, cause usually i would never dream of getting 3 flathead in one session, cause all the places r crap where i fish but this place is good.

    thnx guys

awesome stuff cammo, it took me at least 10 fishing trips before i nailed a fish on soft plastics so congratulations.its always good if you go for a bait fish that you have a few packs of plastics spare to do while you have your rod out. keep it up.
