i was thinking of hitting north pine sunday morning if anyones keen,

havent fished there before but was thinking of just walking the banks throwing lures from about 6.30 - 10am or so..

anyone interested...?

Are you talking the dam or the river?

The dam has a few areas to catch a fish at but at the moment I think the flooded grass areas will be difficult to fish seriously.

I'm wondering where you will get a decent land based spin session in on the North Pine River??

There is not a heap of landbased options for the NPR and most of those are not very productive areas.

Just read the thread, I would have shown you round the place...As Jack said, it is tough to fish at the moment with the amount of grass. But if you know where to go the fish can be caught pretty easily. The good thing about the grass is that it seems to bring the fishy's in.
It's one of those places that you really have to explore to find good spots.
I'll put a little report in the freshwater section later.
