what a top fish mate, catching a fish like that far outways the footy. Awesome effort, still to catch one myself yet,had a flick 2 days after the rain at the seaway from the wall, big tide, new moon,was there for the tide change and not even a tap,guess thats thats fishing hey.

Turn of the tide, top or bottom, is when you want your bait in the water. The jew don't wait all week until the tides are right, they will consistently feed at every possible opportunity. When the tide is running you will find them in pressure waves and behind structure down deep out of the current, as soon as the tide slows and slackens its on!

Yeah Geoff - The Seaway can be very sporadic(Especially LB!), but there are some serious fish there....the more time you have your line in the water, the more chance you have of getting onto something.

Beautiful fish FG, well worth anyones' effort.
The neaps are always prime target times for jew, IMHO.
They like to save their energy for short sharp attacks, and love to sit in a still area and ambush their tucker. Night time is helpful, too.
