Hey guys,
Got down to iluka on monday to be greeted with wind and rain , Not happy. With predictions being thrown around for more of the same, i thought it was going to be a waste of time. Anyway despite the poor weather i went down to the weed beds armed with the SP's and ended up catching around 10 flattys but only kept 2 40cm models for a feed. Tuesday seen a change in the weather and the conditions were perfect for a bream attack. Pumped yabbies and bought a few fresh mullet in the arvo and hit the water just before dark and were anchored to the Coleses (not sure on spelling) wall few hours before the top of the tide. Plastics were not working due to big currents so it was time for yabbies and plenty of weight. The yabbies were smashed before they hit the bottom and after a few hours and 20 bream on the box we were out. Now comes the mullet. A few hours later and bag limit reached we were off the ramp to do some cleaning . All bream were atleast 28cm, with a few monsters hitting the 38cm mark. Went out wednesday night with the same bait and bought back another 40. Some of the best fishing i have experienced in my life. I have no picks as i left the camera on the kitchen table here in Brisbane . No need to say my large family were happy when dad and i returned and distributed the fish.
Cheers, Cam.

Reason: wrong spelling
Sounds like you had a fine time, Cam.
You're brave men cleaning 60 bream, my hands would have been a cut, spiked, bleeding mess and thats after washing the fish off them!
Sure will be good eating though!
Cheers.

Not wrong mate. My fingers are still recovering. The day after i struggled to pick things up!. Will be worth it come dinner time though.
Cheers, Cam
