Great fish and congrats for trying to revive it, what a rush hey?.
great fish mate, is it just me or is that a sizable lump on its noggin for a bay fish?
well done Chris, thats a nice snapper for the bay. Its been quite quiet for us around mud this year, hopefully it is just a late season. Did you catch many small snapper. the last 2 times we have been out we have caught 1 keeper each time around the 70 to 80cm mark but very little else (apart from grinners). Not that we are complaining but it does make it appear quiet on the water.
Interesting plastic you have there, i too have been having more luck with plastics not in the "gulp" range
Once again well done on your catch

Geez mate your camera man is quality..........what a pic
All I can say is lucky you put that particular plastic on....especially with your doubts about it's looks and performance......
We had quiet a few throwbacks yesterday and managed another 40cm as i said in the report. I did also lose another fish that took a screaming run that was a definite legal and probably a nice fish as well but my leader knot let go. I'm sure this was due to my poorly tied knot when i was quickly re rigging. I wouldn't call it a hot session but after reading all the reports of late we had actually expected a quiet session and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of action.
