Furuno FCV582l sounder are they good sounders
Hey guys , can anyone tell me how good a Furuno FCV 582L sounder is in comparison with others such as 585 or 620 or even other brands. I just bought a new boat and this sounder came with it.

Maccas, I have a mate who runs a 582 but has coupled it to a 1kw M260 shoot through the hull transducer, he gets fabulous results with this setup. Only deal is the 582 drives the ducer at 1kw. He envisaged upgrading to the 585 at some stage(hence the 1kw) but he sees no need to.
