Cobra HH400 Handheld VHF Radio
Just picked up one of these for the missus. Main use will be as a close in contact when she is onshore and we are only using one vehicle. Has anyone had any issues with these units. Max range I will be contacting her would be within 3 to 5nm of Ramp, give her enough time to get the trailer hooked up and down to the ramp. Max 5 watt output should give me a decent line of sight communication, so hopefully this unit will do the job.
Any comments welcome

Best thing was the price reduction at Cabelas, saved myself over $100 from the nearest local product.

For cobra gear try NEW WORLD HONDA in berswick Vic. I brought my Cobra 80 there cheaper than I could from the states also as it was brought here in Aust the warranty work is done by the Aust Dist. who is here in Brissie
