Mate, I have no doubt they will have a ball, and sleeping on the boat is not an issue. But the fuel cost!!! WOW. That would be a $200 trip for me.

This is true, and I'd love to. I still like to fish seriously every now and then. But the kids like it too much. And I want to encourage this as much as I can. And besides, I took the 'it would be sooo much better for the boys' approach to convincing the wife to buy the bigger boat! Actually, I must admit, it didn't take much convincing either!! I think she loves it too. Its actually the boat we originally wanted 4 or 5 years ago and couldn't afford. So we a chuffed to finally own the 'dream boat'.
