Looks likke a Victorian organisation to me. What is in it for Qlders?

Hi
I think that this is a topic that will ring true with everyone that wets a line. That is the sustainability of our fisheries & waterways. Recently I have joined up with the Future Fish Foundation. I hope that through my fishing tours I can raise money to improve facilities and encourage restocking in the waterways that I fish.
If anyone knows of other organisations that can help with the sustainability of our fishing areas please feel free to post it on this thread. In the meantime here is the Future Fish Foundations weblink http://www.futurefish.com.au
join up and make a difference.
Cheers
Brad

Earth's surface is 3/4 water and 1/4 land. It's obvious that God intended man to spend triple the time fishing than doing yard work.

I agree Jeremy
A great cause if you live in Vic. Maybe we need something like this in QLD. Get Haydo or Royce running it

Some good news for the local waterways around Cohuna as the report for fish restocking for 2008 was released with over 830,000 native fish stocked into 35 lakes & rivers across Victoria.
The Cohuna area benefitted when the final release of fish was completed last month with 60,000 Golden Perch released in waterways between Kow Swamp, near Cohuna, and Kangaroo Lake, North West of Kerang.
The Loddon River received the largest number of fish, with 70,000 released in the last year.
Gunbower Creek's stocks were boosted with a release of 20,000 fish. Pyramid Creek received a similar number of fish.
It's good to see that all the fundraising and our fees for our fishing licenses is being put to good use.
