    clarrie hall bass mission

    Hi all ,
Just a quick up date on the clarrie hall bass , as you might have all read a couple of weeks ago i did a mission with the elecy for some good results so when i had half a chance a took a mate up to the spill way holes (no time to take the boat up there so a lazy bank trip ) we fished the bottom hole for nothing water was brown and seen a few catties that looked really sick with white holes and dots on them not good !!
Then i headed to the top hole just under the wall with a cast in a rock pool abouve the actuall hole on a bright pink night walker had the first bass i couldnt beleve that i snaged one in a 4ft hole !!! he was hungry hungry hungry and in actuall good condition it was flowing over the wall so i guess he couldnt have been there for a long time he could have swam out if he wanted to , then my mate joe snagged one on a sp just slow rolling it !!! great fun but only 2fish still it was great to pull one out of a hole like that it was a hell of a fight he had me briked a few times but i got him out , i guess thats why i use 3lb line ectra fun!!!!
    Cheers Craig

I have pulled a few from that small hole as well. The 1st time I ever threw a lure into there I pulkled a bloody fish out.

They get a fair apetite in those holes, there are a lot of fish competing for limited food supplies so when they are there, they aren't to difficult to catch.

I must say tho, they are rarely in good condition & often have the caved in tummies.
