Boat accident on M1 today

Hello Everyone ,
Did anyone see that poor boatie on the m1 travelling north, near Logan Hyperdome this afternoon? Somebody was having a really bad day, the boat looked as if it had become loose or dislodged from a Falcon which was facing the wrong direction. Don't know weather it was due to an accidient or a jack knife, perhaps due to heavy breaking or road conditions as it was raining at the time. When passing along the service road we saw rescue services attending, do hope nobody was hurt, always a frightening experience for anybody. Nice looking boat from what we could see. If there was going to be damage, lets hope its minor.

Just caught the end of a story on the news tonight, about a boat collision near coochie today. One guy still missing. Not good.

yeah went passed when it was all loaded up on the flat bed.
Nice set up, XR6 or 8 and a tandem axel trailer, glass boat, maybe an escape 6m or so.

Hey Rosie,

No i dont know anything about it, but it does make us all think about towing in general. not to take anything for granted. some people call me a bit of a worry wart because whether its my boat trailer, or my 4 X 6 trailer, i always tie everything down, and use the right knot for the job. always check bearings and suspension etc, tires and electrics.

I agree, have been doing it for the past 2 weeks on and off..... highly reccomended.

A few modifications, new bearings/hubs and wiring, new skids, service winch and rollers and a paint... followed by a total tectyl job.

Everyone should be getting into theirs
