    On the way to sussex.

in a bit over a month i will be heading down to sussex inlet for a few days but we also want to hit up a few places on the way down and target some different species. eg hawkbury, sydney harbour, port macquary ect
we would like to get stuff like kings (even if there rats) jewies and some big salmon on plastics and wanted to know if any of you guys knew what was the best to chase at this time of year and were.
we have got a boat and fuel is no problem.
if someone would even be so kind to pm me and willing to show me some of these spots we are 100% cnr but have no probs if you want to take a few, you will also gte a chance to ride in a very very fast boat.

will be nearly sure of Salmon this time of the Year at Shellharbour to Kiama area, as well as maybe some other goodies, there is some very good Yellowfin out wide (and I mean WIDE) with catches over 50KG's last weekend, the Snapper Fishing will be patchy at best, some good catches, and some empty Eskies as well, also some very big Kingfish will be about.

prior to moving to bribie ,,mrs choppa and i lived in south sydney,,,, but also had a home in sussex inlet,,,,,, we've been back once since and nothing has really changed,,,, the inlet/river itself holds a miraid of fish,,,, and also holds bloody big bream,,,

you'll find the locals there extremley friendly... but i assume that your visiting people and not just going there for a look

the bar at the river mouth was a bit tricky back then,,, but once outside the fish grounds weren't all that far away

the late father in law actually started the Sussex Inlet Fishing Club,,,, which is still going strong,,, enjoy the trip,,,, hope you get a few

well a mate of mine has rellies down there ad that free accomadation but there is also a bream tourniment going on down there which is why we are going but we have used that as an axuse to fish other places on the way.
im keen to get into some new species and just to fish new area's
there is no doubt that we will be fishing everyday the rest of the time we will be driving, sleeping or rigging up our rods
