fishin mud island??

hey guys, went out to mud on monday, and didn't get much.just wondering how is everyone else goin out there??I can't seem to get much out there.not sure if its my lure choice or not.

I've only been fishing Mud for a couple months and found it slow, but from what I hear and have been told, it's fishing much slower this years then normal.

What plastics are you using?

WOW Dont know, if it was no boat trafic, just luck or different day but had one of the best ever. How 1 day changes your catch. Went all against my rules of fishing there but had a ball terra. Mind you there was only 2 boats out there.

Definitely less around at the moment. I was out there on Sunday night and picked up a couple of tailor and a 48cm snap, but was hard work. Usually by now we would be getting a lot more. But it has also been very quiet offshore as well. I think it will pick up again soon as it is getting colder. The water is not very cold at the moment.

Hey all, I have been fishing around mud a few times of late, no keepers really at all on all occassions. I have been using bait. I would love to catch a snapper there though !!!

Didn't you go out Tuesday night? I didn't try to call you on the way in, I think we'd all had it, and a fish around Mud wasn't on the cards with a kill tank 3/4 full already.
