    Rod Advice

    Hi All

I'm just after some advice about what size rod to for. I will be matching it with a 4000 Stradic and using it for larger plastic work (jew, snapper) as well as a tuna and mackrel spin stick. I will be looking at using 16-20lb braid. At the moment i cant decide between a 3-5kg or a 4-7 kg?

Any suggestions. I want it to be relatively light, but still have the grunt to handle a largish snapper and a bay speedster. A couple of brands i'm looking at are the Daiwa Advantage or the Starlo Tournament.

    Cheers

mate, if you are going to use 16-20lb line, why not get a rod rated 8-10kg?

I have the Starlostix Tournament Pro 4-7kg Maxspin. It is a quality product with Fuji SIC's, good cork and a light powerful blank. It is easily the equal of many rods worth three times as much
The Nitro feels good to me as well but I have not fished with one
