Make sure you reinfoce the base, honestly I know a bloke who was 130KG and sat down heavily on a cheap and worn office chair, and the seat base gave way and he copped the gas strut pole right up the cardinal marker.
Maginfy that with the pounding in a boat in a decent chop, you'd be able to see it down your gob when the doctor says, Say Arrhh.

If you want a smoother ride fit a smaller outboard and go slower. Cannot believe how well a 2.3 HP pushes a 12 tinny.

Gave it a test run at the R2M and it come up trumps. Nice and smooth ride no real jarring.
Hit a few wakes that should have had the hairy bean bag hitting the top floor.
Need to glue some carpet on the feet because it did slide gradually underway.
