28 dissapointed blokes !

About 3 months ago the boss told me to orginise a couple of charter boats for the company's annual fishing trip

So Saturday May 31st was chosen (by me ) and 28 crew orginised to head out of Noosa towards Double Island Point only for this to happen

So i've got to make the dreaded call to everyone in the next couple of days

If only Bob Hawke was PM. You could ring him and he'd change the weather. He could do that, couldn't he?

Yeah there's been a lot banter going on in the lead-up TimiBoy but to no avail

I thought I was doing the right thing by picking this date because high tide was around 5am and 5pm on Saturday on the Noosa Bar and would mean the larger boat wouldn't have any dramas crossing it Might have a bit of trouble in 4m swells though

You just need to convince everybody that you have created a new sport - Extreme Fishing - where the journey is the fun part and fishing is secondary......

I reckon he would be first up for a run with a forecast like that

Yeah it was Brian, funnily enough he didn't put his name down this year

Have managed to re-book in early August and I got someone else to choose the date this time

We were booked on the MV Trekkas. They take posession of a new boat in June so we'll be able to squeeze a couple more on.
