Yes Gary -I hang my head
cheers fnq
I installed it myself in half an hour and I am as handy as Homer Simpson ... bloody hopeless. I never calibrated it at all.
All I have ever done was when I add fuel I let the computer know how much and after a few trips it's very accurate. I have never had a problem with it and I would not live with out it !!!
My brother and myself for that matter are very impressed with how accurate it is every time we go to the fuel bowsers. I will say "according to the computer we should take 125 lts" and you can bet it very close to the mark.
I think I paid $170 for mine, best money ever spent !!!
Rumy1 what model is yours?

I got the sensor deliverd today. I read the manual and it looked easy enough to do. So i went and got the tools threaded the cable where it had to go. Then i realized that the box stated there was a "Y" cable supplied so you have power aswell as the sensor running through the same terminal. I looked in the box and there was no cable well that tipped me over the edge with a few words of choice.
I rang navco australia and told them what has happend. The book stated there was a "Y" cable in the box. They told me that that unit dosen't come with the cable. I said to the sales bloke why put a book in there saying that it is. He said "i ain't sure"{well that ain't no help to me}
So now i have to order a "Y" cable to get this hooked up to the sounder. So i have to tac on another 60 bucks to the price...NOW I'M REAL IMPRESSED

Spiro my installation manual for the sf35 says the same thing about the
Y cable.
I have spoken to the head tech at navico and mentioned the fuel flow transducer and how many have had problems with them.
There reply was bad fuel lines, dirty fuel filters. incorrect installation,
and simple things like once you cut the fuel line to fit the sender particles of
of the cuttings can block the sender.
They suggest always mount upright as noted and and if problems occur
after usage to reverse the flow with a little fuel to clean the sender.
