You need to build bigger boats so you can get all the words and numbers on the sides!
Chimo
What could go wrong.......................
ha ha mals got more to go on it yet its alot of white without the decals on it . you wait till you see the side of bretts when we finish it we are going to town on it
how about posting those pics of the new plate now that the hull has been turned
Cheers Tezza
Tezza Im heading down there this arvo....You coming????
I will get some more pics then and post them all....
Heres one for you for now..
well done boys and if you have any dramas ring col at fisher he can guide you thougth anything that might be really hard just ring him he is always there for ausfish members.
well its been a fair while since i posted in here.
Because i wanted to be part of the build process and cause both Viper and I have been busy we havent really been able to get a good go at the boat till the last couple weeks..
A few things have now changed it is now 7mtr LOA and has a full cab As we look long and hard at the walkround and didnt really gain anything out of it, and seeing as how the old boy is a year older I had to keep him comfy . Really tho I am happy as we have changed the design, Thanks Phil.
It has 270ltr tank
2 x 130ltr kill tanks
87ltr live tank
full self draining deck,
battery well able to hold 3 large batterys
All the pumps (live well , deckwash etc) are all consealed in the pod area.
Huge fishing deck with step thru transom door
large rocket launcher with all the wires etc again consealed.
We are currently fabing the seat boxes that will have storage again under for fridge etc .
Just some of the stuff that Phil the MASTER has designed and created..
First pic is off inside the hull after turning The keel bar is 100x12mm fully welded full length...
More to come
Hey Brett you had better put some more pics on here because there's so much more done .It's getting closer and thanks for thinking of me in the construction (loa)
Cheers Tezza
Ok Im back.
These next two are of the under floor with some of the stringers and bulkheads tack into place and the floor frame starting to be added in as well. These are all fully welded into place.
sorry for the quaility of some of the pics as they where taken on my phone..
Brett
This one is of one the front bulkhead that sits under the start of the helm area. Phil has put a step in here to; one give me a little more height to see out of; and two more step dwn into the cabin area..
The ply marks where the rear deck is
I get a call at work one of the days, Its Phil
"mate you better call in and see the cabin its finished he says"
Im thinking wtf he musta done an allnighter on it, so im excited as
these next couple are of the fuel tank kill tank areas and of the rear deck with the bait tank etc added in. The side and rear deck have been added the rear door marked out
Phil gets the creative juices flowing again and makes the scuppers for the self draining floor
I have just brought a brandnew 175 OPtimax for her and this is where it will sit. Built like a brick crapper has folded 6mm bracing inside of it welded to the transom.
In it you can see the burley pod has been built in and the overflow for the live tank drains into the burley pod.
We put the sealed hatches in the pod as the bait pump and deck wash pumps are located in there
