Fish ID please..

Can anyone tell me what this is ?

It was caught on a charter out off fraser in about 50 meters.

The skipper called is a "harlequin smiler" - but I suspect he made it up !!! [

Jrf1973 yeah that is what it is called caught between Yeppoon and Tweed grows 400mm long... don't know anyone that has ever eaten them.. the colour scares me

by the look of the size of the gob I would say it was a female Mother in law fish
