    Can't any hull crack?

I've seen a Mono hull crack along the centre weld inrelatively calm seas. Fatigue would have been my guess.
Even my trusty old Allycraft has a sh!tty looking weld running along the centre, so I guess it cracked up on a previous owner

Ask Blaze about his Glass boat, he almost snapped her in half. But he still owns it, because it is his choice of boat.

Rumour has it that even the mighty Malcom Douglas Trailcraft has a rep for cracking up.

I would even go as far as saying there would be some cat hulls out there that have the odd crack or two.

    As said before

Boat choice is a Personal choice and finacial choice.

I bought my allycraft because I wanted a C/C and it was the right price, now I want a bigger boat, but can't afford it, so bad luck for me.

As for people coming down hard crossing a bar, well slow down!

fully agree with you, I was just sort of stating why I have never owned one, and even though it is not a valid point, it is just something that sticks in your mind (I think) I have had an Alloy Cat and it cracked a heap of times, had it welded up , and then learned how to do it myself, so I was not trying to imply that it cracked BECAUSE it was a Tri Hull, that's just the way it came out in text.
