Pinkenba - Off the bank Tues / Weds
I fished from about 9-1.00 pm yesterday and today all along the rock wall at Pinkenba. I walked slowly casting all the way from the cement plant down to where the rockwall gets submerged. I flicked a variety of Gulps in close to the rock wall and scored 46cm and 55cm lizards and a 38 cm Bream yesterday. Today was a bit tougher with a 20 cm Bream (released) and a 33 cm Bream both on the Smelt 3" Minnow. I also hooked and dropped a decent flattie from the lagoon inside the rock wall.
Beautiful conditions and I am sure there woukd have been even better fish to catch if I could have got down there a bit closer to dawn.

Good result for those hours.
The sunken wall, what a spot. Plenty of variety, probably the best land based spot in the river.
Saw some big tailor in close to the wall the other day.
Lost a lure to one (at least i think thats what it would have been, clean cut leader) only minutes before i saw them.

Last time I was there I caught a flounder on Smelt 3" Minnow. Used to go out there heaps and see no one, but now it seems the word is catching on.Also caught a decent 50 cm lizzard on a pumkinseed on that day but there was a group of people there with a yapping dog and carrying on.... I left quite short in the session.
Have caught some awesome quality and variety of fish there.
