Mal,
Here's another lead - you could try Rod at Baitmate Baitboards. His main line is custom ally bait boards & his ally welding is excellent quality, & competitively priced. He does other ally work as well. Web site is http://www.baitmate.com.au/ & mobile is 0400 122 943 He's making me a custom bait board with live tank for my 15' tinnie & I was out there on Friday to check the specs & was impressed with his quality & accuracy.
cheers Mark
Thanks all - will follow up those leads today.
Am wanting to convert the vertical main tank pickup (pic 1) to a 90degree elbow so that it is no higher than 25mm similar to the pickup or breather on the aux tank (pics 2 & 3).
The main tank is out of the boat, empty, & measures 160mmH x 500mmW x 2030mmL - approx 160litres
Looking for simplest solution - MalM
yeah unfortunatly the welding side of it is the easiest part there is more time involved in it in cleaning it and making safe to weld and then re pressure testing it after its been welded
How about a elbow with compression fittings?
