Single foot guides
Was just after your thoughts on how heavy a line class you can run on good quality single foot guides

Single foot guides are very strong, but in having said that your question is open ended. What material, what size, what style of rod, what action and so on. All of these things contribute largely to what a guide can and can’t handle. It’s pretty hard to put a designated line or in fact a drag setting to it but if I had to it would be around 6kg. The biggest killer of any single footed guide is the knots you use.

Im using a set of Titianum ,Silicon Fuji single foot guides on a Loomis 10-20lb Mahonany and using it for SP's on snapper and they seem to be handling with ease .I'm also fishing heavy drag setting's to try and keep fish off the bottom
But hadnt taken into account the Knot actually running through the guides under load before

Titanium guides are more flexible than that of stainless guides. Titanium guides because of the flexibility issue are more susceptible to guide rings fulling out due to knots knocking on the guide ring. If you keep your knots slim you won’t have an issue at all with the set up you are using.
