Been the case with the fishing out there recently Pete. Sounders can hardly contain their excitement but the bite periods are few and far between. We must have passed you somewhere on the way back in I'd say. Bar was terrible wasn't it?

there was a easterly out there about 10-15knots which made a pleasant trip up to the top off moreton.when we arrived sounder went black with good shows out went he pick and i thought something wrong ,look no current for a change
so out went the lines and in no time we had a double hook,about half way up grey suits had both of our fish then sounder had nothin on it we moved around tried few more spots but nothing around 9am we moved into a pinnacle in 70 mts sounder was black again out went the pick again ,landed in a good spot down bang im on got a few trag then a huge hit which turned into be a 12kg jewie lost another 2 jewies then sharks moved in again so slept 5 hrs got few fish in morning and restocked up on a few slimmies and home
