Have you any Idea what exchange rate in currency is now Rand-Aus Dollar?? I am thinking of ;importing' a reel from Oz. You guys have a much better range of reels available to you , than what we have here!!! Looks like we get the tail end and/or hand me downs that other countries dont want! I didnt fish in RSA. It was to much hassle to drive the 70km to the nearest dam to Randburg and the coast was 600km away.
At least now I have salt water 3km from my house so I am slowly getting into it.
Exchange rate is fluctuating between R7 and R7.50 to the AUD.
I see you cant post your e-mail address on the post. I had a rod custom built and it arrived yesterday!!!! I am itching to go and test it , but we have a screaming Southeaster (like only in cape town!).What you doing in Aus?? Work or Expat??
