    success at last

    Hey guys
went for a session with imnotoriginal this morning before work, looking to secure my frist bream on plastics.

We had a quick session around Kawana but not much was doing, i was slightly ahead of joel when i heard that familar noise of drag being peeled of a line, looked back and joel was off the mark and showing me how its done.

Not much took place after that so a change in location was needed.

ended up near the lock for part 2 of our mornign session, things looked promising with little bait fish around but still couldnt manage a hit. After some wise words from joel i changed my set up and while he was putting a rod away , quickly flicked my shrimp along a jetty and then with a local walking past to see whats doing, bang zzzzzzzz , ended up pulling a nice bream, my first ever on plastics (pic to come later)

managed a flattie not long afterwoods but then time was up and headed off to work.

i have to say after about 4 mths of trying plastics and to finaly land a bream is an awesome feeling .

thanks joel for a great morning and for your tips

Didn't take much mate, just the right jighead and you did the rest . I kept trying for an hour or so after you left, but they were quite spooky. Everytime the mullet got spooked by my presence the bream would duck back underneath the pontoons. Congrats again on the first plastics bream mate, I'm sure we'll see you get plenty more over the coming winter.
