In line fuse or Circuit breaker for electric motor?
Ok guys i need some help with this question. Im in two frames of mind after being told that some people use in line fuses and others recommend i use a circuit breaker for my electric.I had a look around today to try and find a 50amp manual reset circuit breaker.Do they exist cause i could not find one? What do you guys have on yours and where did you buy it from. The only place that was any help was Bias Boating and he said he could order a Minn Kota circuit breaker for me for the some of $135.I quickly walked out.Any help appreciated.PS I tried BCF JAYCAR DICKSMITH BIAS BOATING and a AUTO ELECTRIC SHOP. Most had circuit breakers but only 70 and 100 amp.Cheers Jamie

check caravansplus.com.au an auto reset is about $7.80 plus postage.I ad one it resets when it cols down , about a minute or two. This site has a lot of cheap stuff.GOOD LUCK

I would go the fuse over the Braker as the salt is know to damage them.
you can get the jumbo fuse and holder from BCF and supper cheap for around $20. I would get some heat shrink and 3 x anderson pluges too
One Anderson plug on the battery after the fues one on the electric and the other on the charger.
