    Weyba Estuary cod.... again

The joys of being on holidays, always time for a quick session in the arvo whislt the missus and kids are napping, trolling around. Only the 1 cod 38 cm, but like i have said before, thats dinner taken care of. I keep reading reports of queenies and the such, i would been keen to catch some of thos little buggers, they sound fun

MAte for the trevs and queenies try the early/late hours. Im no expert but have fished noosa a fair bit. hit woods bay and the mouth of weyba as the sun is coming up/going down with softies or shallow divers. jsut look for surface action. Go a quick retrieve with the softies keep them up near the surface. Also try after dark with poppers. the trevs cant resist them.
nice cod by the way. he will go down well with a beer or 2

hey mate, do u live up that way or holidaying up there?
i go up there a bit but not as much as i'd like, i get on to the trevs, just havent hooked a queenie yet! yeah try jackashs tip, but try and get ya hands on a few livies in the same area and have one or two set while throwing lures, they cant resist that!
    cheers, can do
