a mate from work took me outside in his boat for my first time deep sea fish, put me over his spot x hehehhe and a got my first squire at 38 cm and had one other big run but lost it , but thats fishing i

i did my part and took some of my friends fishing in my tinnie around russell island (michelle has only fished a few times and mick at 41 yrs had never picked up i fishing rod ) got two keeper bream 28cm and one 27 cm and a hand full of undersize taylor , but no hook ups for the new fisher people so i pulled the anchor and headed for the powerlines a few small fish is better than no fish for them and not to long they had both caught thier first fish both small taylor, went to cabbage tree point for ice creams and headed home
thinking back it was good to see the look on their faces catching their first fish , and i hope they come out again ,, nothing better that good friends, wetting a line and ice cream
