Not 15 years ago buddy and it wasnt a cast net, it was a home made drop net, lower it down, throw wet bread on top of the water, hardies swim over the top, then lift net up. Pure genius it was.

Retired the cast net and spent bloody hours making one of those drop nets last year...............haven't seen a bloody hardy head off shorncliffe jetty since!
