fuel usage

hi all, just bought a s/s 40ltr fuel tank when we went out last saturday nite the distance traveled was 47km & used 20ltrs sitting on 18 knots, i have a 40hp & a 4.4mtr quinie & about 200kg all up in the boat,is this good fuel usage?

Hi Ron, I have a 4.4 centre console with a 40 2 stroke yammie on the back and last trip out i used 20 ltrs for 51 klms travelled loaded up with camping gear and my two boys, and i thought that was very good fuel consumption.
I travel at about 17 knots
