squid hunting

Hi All

Has anyone been out to the cockle banks recently? Im heading out and was wondering if any squid are out there with the winter whiting.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello Biteback,

Where's abouts are you located. If you're in Brisbane area, and you have a spare seat give me a hollo as I'm also trying to get a feed of squid but have no boat. I'll put some dollars in to cover fuel

You dont need a boat I use to walk around the rock walls near my house at night with a torch and a long net and catch squid. That was a few years ago now, not sure if its still works
