Hi Fellow Fishermen

The Rainbow Beach Fishing Classic is to be held from the 18 Jul to 26 Jul 08
Is any one going this year
Cost is $70 if you are a members of the Club or $85 if not and this also give you membership to the sports club
I am going to this comp now instead of Fraser Expo

G'day Ken, how's that new ' stick ' going ?

I hear the RBFC is a good comp with a great place to access all sorts of good country.

With the Toyo Comp on Fraser being fully subscribed each year, people may be looking to a new comp to try their luck.

Frank the fishing machine and I are heading up to Rainbow Beach for the comp again this year. Always a good time there.

This comp is a good 8 day comp.
If you camp at Carlo point there is a courtesy bus to take you to the comp site whih is at the club and return you home
They have a signature boat with a susie as first prise this year.

This will be my 15 th there are bigger comps but there are none better.
Great comp if you have a wife and kids that fish, with a special ladies day and kids prizes every day, see you there cheers wayne.

Myself and the parents are entering,will be in a Cruisecraft Outsider 625 and fishing outside as much as the weather allows, might also head up prior to find some more ground to fish and suss out a few existing spots.

im hiring a house boat for the comp. should be pretty good. keep the missus entertained while im out in the boat. hehe...

we will be there represnting the haines group (very cool) in the new 675f signature please come and say hello and have a good look over the boat it is a machine 2nd year for us, i was winning the biggest red last year untill the last day hopfully on the leader board this year at the right time
cant wait its a awsome comp, i had a hand in geeting signature to sponcer after last year thats how much we enjoyed the people and the way the comp is run

NO NO NEED to use rainbow for 1770 iam up to agnes again next week
and will try to sneak up in sept but rainbows fishing is just as good and cant wait for the comp
