Advertising Banners

Hello Steve and Mods and anyone else who reads this. Just wondering if there is something that can be done with the advertising banners that obstruct the pull down menu. Can they be inverted so that they are still there but the pull down menu overlays the top of the banner when it is pulled down? I like using the menu but most of it ends up behind the banner.

Will look into it, in the meantime just scroll the page a fraction so the banner is off the top of the page.
