Sitting back here in Sydney ..... I'm wondering ,
what the hell has happened at Monduran ........ with several outstanding captures over the last week or so

what has changed ? .... Did someone leave the gate open to the bull pen ( Cattle Yards)

some great fish mate hey, hopeing it only gets better as those pesky 90's grow up a bit, 120+ in the tress, now thats fishin!!

I think it is just the natural evolution of the impoundment. Two years ago metre+ fish were there but not as common. Last year there were a heap caught between 100cm and 115cm. This year the size has increased again.

Sitting here only four hours away from Mondy I have contracted a near fatal case of I.B.D as work and family commitments will keep me way from the barra until late August.

In the meantime all of these unfeeling fishos keep posting threads about monster barra caught recently. Thank God I'm out of the country for the next fortnight!!

amazing hey!!!just got the new fish and boat N.Q paper and there is pages of people struggling to hold up monsters from there!!Good luck to all heading up there(Lucky,lucky buggers......)

they are always catching 120cm + barra, it's just so happens a few of us Ausfishers have posted about our catches which makes it sound like a good period (which it is) Unfurtunately many of these fish caught by others become freezer trophies!!
