I have been out in the tinnie over the last few days, up and down Webya Creek and in 3 sessions i have landed flathead over 50 cms every trip, the largest of which was 67cm. The day I got the 67cm i have a little comp. going with the father in-law, he went out to A bay off lion rock and I was in the tinnie, most kgs win. The 67cm was 1.96kgs, caught on HB pink 12cm lure (my favourite lure) and only moments later BAM zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz snap!!! oh well, i hope it went to a happy place.
Today was another smashing afternoon, only a short session but landed the a 58cm flathead and a Estuary Cod 37cm, so thats dinner on the week end taken care of. (see pics, 40cm ruler). I am thinking that maybe i should try to get some of those queenies
