What did it fight like? I scored an 18 kg model last winter, and I didn't really think it put up much of a fight considering its size.

Agree with that 100% - and the bigger they are the quicker they give up. If you're patient enough to let them go on the first big powerful run after hook-up they usually burn themselves out quite quickly and often come in belly-up. The smaller ones to about 6kg are much better fighters and will give you a decent fight on light gear

nah dont worry bout lettin them have a big run just get into em give em bout 10 meters than break there neck and skull drag em in who wants to give a fish of this calabure the chance to get away thats wat really tics me off watchin people hook quality fish on gear that is just no way heavy enough wat a waste of a fish
