Good call Brett, sometimes it's better to let it go to through to the keeper. More power to ya..
Oh man!!! I took the runabout out today for a boating picnic with the mrs and kid,s. Made our way to cabbage tree point ramp only to be greeted by a line up of about 4 cars + boat's (not too bad considering it was saturday and great weather to boot) The time was about 10am and as I waited in line I did the right thing by removing all the extra's from the journey (tie downs + bung check etc) but while I was doing this a couple of cars pulled away from the ramp area and the cars in front of me made there way and reversed and all, by the time I had sat back in my seat this bloke came cruising down the street and made his way past the 3 other blokes behind me and pushed in the gap left between myself and the cars reversing, A bloody great push in rip I thought, I looked at him with the always given Glare and he would not even look my way, At first I wanted to hurl obsenities at him but decided to let it go, all in all he was very quick and held me up by about 2 minute's but thats not the point now is it. To top it all off after we returned from our boatie picnic about 12pm there was still a few cars in line so the mrs waited with the boat on shore while I grabbed the car, Low and behold the bloke in front of me in the line this time decided to stop and take heaps of pictures before they reversed there car down the ramp, this too I let go , "sheesh" am I one of the most patient blokes!!! I can imagine why there's so many fisticuff's at the ramp and all coz some peep's just really dont have a clue!!!
Bretty........ Still had a great day but!

I'm with Paul here. Sometimes these quick and insignificant things happen in life.
You are the bigger person for letting these things slide through and it shows the people around you, tolerance. Hopefully you can see that your family will not remember this small thing as it would take away from the good feeling of the more memorable family day out .
Chris
Yeah good on ya mate, take a breath. No need to spoil a good day with the family.

Paul,Angla + Stabbin.. Too true mate! the first thing I thought of was the mrs + kids, to have a crack at the dipstick would of ruined the day for sure,

sounds like he needed a good snappering just kidding not worth the hastle i have been launching at cabbage tree creek and every time i go out or in there is people fishing on the ramp , i feel like having a word with em but its not worth it specially with the kids around , and most of them move out off the way when you get close , i did " accidently " reverse over a packet of live worms that were put on the ramp but i didnt know they were there .
Ha ha ha LOL yeah I remember that post, Didnt see any peep's fishing at cabage tree but lots of boat action, I actually used cabbage tree because jacob's well is extremely busy at the slowest of time's, guess most of us are thinking the same, I did however ,on the way to jacob's well in the passage, see lots of ,what looked like, private boat ramp's that looked like you need a 4x4 to use!! can we get to these?
Bretty
We got to CTP on saturday, around sun up, some guys just arrived back from overnighter and lets me in on where he is parked in the carpark(under the tree). I took the boat off and thinking beauty, a carpark. A small car drove in and parked under the tree in the spot, boat trailers were parked both side. Come on. I know, fair go, but, but, but............Off I drove pass the bowls club.
Geoff
Iam stayin out of this one lol
