Brejen,
was the wave surf-able, and not being a local (see avatar!) is there any shark danger from surfing that area?
Sounds like a sweet wave...
zimbo jimbo
Jimbo there was a couple of tinnies anchored there today. I came in thru the seaway from the southern end and could see the surf rolling in across it. There was some big swells out wide this morning and very rough.
Mate as for the sharks. With all the reports of sharks around at the moment not to sure if I'd put my ass in there.
Brett
so would u say it was too rough for tomorrow?or do u think it would be better tomorrow

MAte i was out around 18kms today, but in close it was fairly good. As for tomorrow Seabreeze is saying about the same as today, so all depends on how far out you will be fishing. There would have been 20 odd boats fishing just outside of the seaway entrance today.
Me i will be sleeping in, then spending a top day with my Dad and son at the boat show.
Look forward to your report
Brett
Ive heard of that wreck, i think its called the Aquarius. Dont have the marks for it tho. I hear it fishes very well. A mate in a tackle shop told me about it, hes fish it for snappa.
Maybe the dive sites might know more about it. Its not common knowledge among fishos.
